I am a Certified Health & Wellness Coach providing neurofeedback, aka EEG biofeeback, to adults and children. Having regularly practiced meditation and yoga for the past 20 years, offering wellness and stress management solutions to others is the focal point of my work.
My own experience with neurofeedback is what inspired me to become a trainer. I personally know its potential, and that there is too little awareness about it as an option for clients who have tried and were disappointed by mainstream therapeutic interventions. Neurofeedback is a gentle and safe approach, yet the effects of brain training can be quite powerful. Just one session is comparable to hours of meditation. To quote one of my clients' words, it is like a massage for the brain!
Just as I did, many of my clients come to neurofeedback when conventional treatments have failed. I see clients with high levels of stress and anxiety. I work with adults suffering from mood disorders (depression, bipolar) and often times with a history of trauma caused by abuse or neglect. Seeing others experience substantial positive changes in their well-being adds to the miracle of transformation I experienced myself with this process. I also see children and teenagers with attention deficit (ADHD or ADD) and/or learning difficulties. Fortunately, more and more parents do not want to medicate such young brains and realize that it is possible to improve focus and school performance naturally by enhancing neuroplasticity.
In addition to my professional training and qualification as a NeurOptimal® Trainer, I am a Certified Health & Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches School of Coaching whose training program is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). I have trained extensively in yoga, mindfulness-based stress reduction, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and biofeedback in France and in the United States.
As a coach, my approach to health is holistic. I look at at the whole person and takes into consideration various dimensions including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I have a deep understanding of what it takes to harmonize body, mind, and soul. I provide a calm, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to develop and maintain life-giving, health-promoting behaviors.
